Floor Manager

Felons Seafood is looking for a Floor Manager to join our team at Manly Wharf.

As Floor Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the venue, leading the front-of-house team and ensuring service is delivered to a consistently high standard. You’ll be responsible for coordinating the floor, supporting the team through busy services and creating an exceptional experience for every guest.

This is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll be responsible for overseeing service and ensuring the restaurant operates efficiently and professionally.

You’ll work closely with the General Manager, kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth communication and a seamless service from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate the front-of-house team throughout service
• Keep the floor running smoothly during busy periods
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience from arrival through to farewell
• Support the Venue Manager with day-to-day operations
• Coach, develop and inspire team members
• Manage reservations, guest requests and service flow
• Maintain high standards across service, presentation and venue operations
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues with confidence
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Help create a positive, energetic and inclusive team culture

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience in a Floor Manager, Assistant Manager, Supervisor or similar hospitality leadership role
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and service
• Excellent communication and people skills
• The ability to lead a team while jumping in and getting your hands dirty when needed
• A calm, confident approach during busy services
• A genuine passion for creating great guest experiences
• Strong attention to detail and high service standards
