Events Chef

At Artemus Group, we're creating one of Sydney's most exciting waterfront hospitality destinations, and we're looking for experienced Events Chefs to join the culinary team at our stunning Manly Wharf Events Centre.

As an Events Chef, you'll work alongside our Sous Chef and kitchen leadership team to deliver premium event menus for a diverse range of functions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and executing high-quality dishes for weddings, corporate events and private functions.
• Maintaining exceptional food quality and presentation across every event.
• Working collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to deliver seamless service.
• Assisting with menu preparation, mise en place and event execution.
• Maintaining the highest food safety and hygiene standards.
• Supporting stock control, minimising waste and ensuring an organised kitchen.
• Bringing a positive attitude and strong teamwork to every shift.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience as a chef in events, banquets or high-volume hospitality.
• A passion for producing exceptional food under pressure.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• A positive, team-first attitude.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
• Relevant cookery qualifications and food safety knowledge
