Located right on the waterfront at Manly Wharf, Felons Manly is a vibrant, high-energy venue bringing the best of food, drinks, live music and good times to the Northern Beaches. From laid-back lunches and afternoon beers to buzzing nights by the water, every service is about creating an unforgettable experience for our guests and bringing the energy.

As Assistant Venue Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading the team, driving exceptional service and making sure every guest leaves wanting to come back for more.

Working closely with the General Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading the day-to-day operation of the venue, inspiring and developing the team, and ensuring every guest receives an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves creating an energetic team culture, and knows what it takes to deliver premium service at a high-volume venue.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the guest experience and continually looking for opportunities to improve
  • Lead and coach a diverse team of people ensuring that team culture is at the forefront of everything that you do
  • Monitoring of wages, comps and wastages
  • Team member rostering in line with forecasting and budgeting
  • Assisting the guests with any feedback and actioning as appropriate
  • Contribute to a culture of care and safety, ensuring it becomes a way of life within the business
  • Ensuring venue presentation is at a high standard at all times
  • Liaising with other departments on a regular basis
  • A high knowledge of the product produced in venue

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in a leadership role within premium dining or high-volume hospitality
  • A hands-on leader who leads by example and motivates their team
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • A passion for hospitality, great food, and creating memorable experiences
  • Current RSA
